Prof. Dr. Jamunarani S Vadivelu

Prof. Dr. Jamunarani S Vadivelu is Head of Medical Education & Research Development Unit (MERDU) and Professor for the Department of Medical Microbiology at the University of Malaya. In her role as part of the Faculty of Medicine Dean's Office at University of Malaya, Jamnua is responsible for curriculum development and assessment as well as leading the admissions process for the MBBS programme which has 150 students each year. Alongside this, Jamuna has had more than 140 articles published across her many areas of expertise including bacteriology (molecular biology & immunology) and bioinformatics (computational genetics).
